NWNS - HOSTING & EQUIPMENT COLOCATION SERVICES

NWNS is not a datacenter and does not have such facilities but as a service NWNS sources hosting and colocation facilities on behalf of its Customers.

The NWNS Model:

Together with our Customers we define the exact requirements including:

  • Best possible geographical location;

  • Technical requirements (rack space, roof space, power, connectivity etc)

Once the technical requirements have been defined, NWNS will source the best possible solution alternatives:

  • NWNS negotiates the deal on behalf of the Customer - NWNS represents the Customer;

  • An agreement will be between Customer and Service Provider directly at no further NWNS mark-up;

No vague Mark-ups: NWNS charges a transparent fixed consultancy fee per closed agreement unless agreed differently

After Agreement Closing:

After agreement closing, NWNS will continue supporting its Customer but only if desired:

  • NWNS can support Customer in importing the equipment into the country;

  • NWNS can support Customer in license and permission attainment;

  • NWNS will support Customer in the installation and commissioning of the service;

Typically, NWNS charges all-inclusive and by the job. Pricing accordingly is only possible if all critical details have been shared with NWNS at the time of request. Alternatively, you are invited to contact a NWNS sales representative.

More Background:

The following predefined Customer requirements are used as critical input for NWNS to source facilities that possibly qualify for the job. NWNS has assumed that Customer supplies its own equipment. Other arrangements can be made of course.

  • Co-location support incl. floor or rack space and roof space (if antennas have to be hosted);

  • Local regulatory requirements (many countries demand one or more licenses to operate an antenna, also if RX only);

  • Rack and roof specific power requirements;

  • Mains power quality (uptime SLA) and back-up power availability;

  • Connectivity (SLA, flexibility and redundancy, IP addresses etc.);

  • Cooling, fire safety and security (guards, access, features);

  • Storage (dedicated secure delivery and storage areas);

  • Support (remote hands, additional support);

  • Reporting (power meter, sensors);

  • Facility quality and flexibility (location, type of building, costs and SLA);

Set-up (one time costs) typically include:

  • NWNS consultancy fee;

  • Applying or arranging for connectivity;

  • Preparing for floor or rack (and roof) space;

  • Network (power, IP) upgrade if required;

Monthly Recurring Charges typically include:

  • floor or rack (and roof) space;

  • Power + power back-up (100% SLA power uptime);

  • Connectivity incl. IP transit and IP addresses;

Possible Other Charges
At NWNS, we operate a transparent pricing model where all costs including those that are ongoing are communicated from the outset enabling you as a customer not to have to worry about any hidden costs of an incomprehensible pricing model. Please find below the charges for any other services or additional extras which you may need to order during your contract term with us:

  • Attainment of licenses and permissions: Fixed NWNS charge + 3rd party charges, fees, duties and taxes as billed and according to receipt). Note: Final price very much depends on the country's regulatory policies and the overall complexity of the job;

  • Arranging for type approvals and import permissions: Fixed NWNS charge + 3rd party charges, fees, duties and taxes as billed and according to receipt). Note: Final price very much depends on the country's customs and regulatory policies and the overall complexity of the job;
